Club Info
Training
All you need to do is come by any of our practices. We'll get you started with fencing and teach you everything you need to know, all you need is a way into the RPAC. Everyone is welcome, community members included, any time of the year.
The club's training sessions are held twice a week:
* Monday - 11.15-12.15
* Friday - 10.30-11.30
If you would like to join us, or just come & watch, please feel free to do so. Please note that at present the club is only operational during Term Times.
For the academic year 2010/2011, term times are as follows:
* Lent term: 14 January 2011 - 25 March 2011
* Summer term: 28 March 2011 - 1 April 2011 - 1 July 2011
Cost
Club dues are currently $20 a quarter, which is comparatively very cheap compared to other local fencing clubs, which is very nice for the beginning fencer.
Coaching
The Club's coaching is primarily provided by professional fencing coach.
Non-students
The Club also welcomes Members who are not currently in our club, be these members of staff, students from other institutions, or indeed the general public. Please note that as a Sports Club, we are naturally obliged to give preference to current Students, so we would ask that non-students wishing to join please contact us beforehand.
